Napoleon’s Battles (ENG)

Yesterday a good part of the Capitan Games team went to the Napoleonic Day of  Gava.

There, Capitan Games, the games and Rulebooks division of Warmodelling Miniatures, announced that we had just acquired the worldwide rights for issuing a new edition of Napoleon’s Battles.

For us, it is a great honor and responsibility to deal with the preparation of the 4th Edition (MARÉCHAL EDITION) of Napoleon’s Battles. First published in 1989 by Avalon Hill, its latest reincarnation came from the hand of Lost Battalion Games.

Now, after reaching an agreement with Robbert Coggins, who 25 years ago started working on this project with S. Craig Taylor, his friend and partner. We are eager to assume such a responsibility.

With the help of Bob and other connoisseurs of the game, we want to give a new life to this impressive game.

Napoleon’s Battles

Ayer una buena parte del equipo acudió a las Jornadas Napoleónicas de Gavá.

Allí anunciamos que Capitan Games, la división de juegos y reglamentos de Warmodelling Miniatures, acababa de adquirir los derechos a nivel mundial del reglamento napoleónico Napoleon’s Battles.

Para nosotros, es un gran honor y responsabilidad el afrontar la preparación de la 4ª Edición (MARÉCHAL EDITION). Publicado por primera vez en 1989, por Avalon Hill, su última reencarnación vino de la mano de Lost Battalion Games.

Ahora, tras llegar a un acuerdo con Robbert Coggins, quien hace más de 25 años empezó a trabajar en este proyecto con S. Craig Taylor, su amigo y socio, es nuestro momento.

Esperamos que con la ayuda de Bob y de otros conocedores del juego, podamos editar, publicar y distribuir un producto a la altura de sus anteriores ediciones. Pondremos todo nuestro empeño en ello.

We did it!!!

Changes. Temporal site — Cambios. Sitio Temporal

Dear Friend,

You are visiting a temporal site.

We are migrating our systems to a new provider, also we are opening a new online store and preparing a new webpage.

We will be fully back and operative on friday 22nd February.

In the meantime, we are attending Gava Convention in Spain, expect great news coming tomorrow, 16th February.

Mr. JM Barrie said once: “If growing up means it would be beneath my dignity to climb a tree, I’ll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up! Not me!” ”

So, tomorrow we will climb another tree, even if we are grown ups. After long months of work, we will make an important announcement at Gava Convention. And later we will inform you all, through our webpage and Facebook of what we think is an outstanding and expected piece of news.

Regarding our webpage, also we must grow up and depart from the comfort zone……recently you have been aware that we are having some issues with our ISP.

We decided to change, depart from a long time relationship and start from the scratch. A new webpage of warmodelling is coming, it’s almost finished and will be online in the next few days. Please be patient, and benevolent with any glitches the first version will have.

So Warmodelling Miniatures will be our new name, and we will keep working on improveing the hobby, putting on that mission our most sincere, passionate and relentless work.

Stay tuned folks, something big is coming tomorrow……I promise.

Posteriormente os informaremos a través de nuestra página web y de esta página de Facebook. Creemos que será una noticia importante para el hobby y que os gustará a todos.

Por lo que respecta a nuestra página web, también llegó la hora de crecer, sabéis que últimamente hemos tenido muchos problemas con nuestro proveedor de acceso. Nos mudamos, hemos preparado una nueva tienda y un nuevo proveedor. Ese cambio no siempre es fácil, pero creemos que ha llegado el momento.

Estaremos en línea en los próximos días, sed pacientes y benevolentes con nosotros, algún fallo tendrá la primera versión, aunque nos hemos esforzado para que no sea así.

Nuestro nombre comercial pasa a ser Warmodelling Miniatures y unificamos todos nuestros servicios web en un único lugar. Nos comprometemos a trabajar para mejorar el hobby desde nuestra humilde aportación, poniendo en ese empeño nuestro más sincero, apasionado e incansable esfuerzo.
